Actuators for the stair lift automation
Since 1987 MecVel manufactures electric linear actuators able to satisfy the handling requests of different kinds of applications. Since the start, MecVel focused on medical industry applications, developing specific products for the rehabilitation and healthcare fields, supporting human needs, as with, for example, the stair lift.
In detail, MecVel has developed this solution:
- Stairlifts: automation of the opening/closing of the final section of the rail
- Seat: automation of some chair components (headrest, footrest, backrest, armrest) for the maximum comfort, and functionality
Advantages:
In addition to seat movements, electric linear actuators can also control the automatic opening/closing of the final section of the rail used by the stair lift, allowing for a complete and fluid ascent or descent for the user. Moreover, actuators may be used to optimize space when the stair lift is not in use.
The support provided to the user in terms of comfort and independence is also made possible by the electric system’s efficiency. MecVel actuators are also suitable for domestic use, ensuring reliable and precise control of the movements.
